Take a Bite
Out of Hunger

HCC’s 2026 Summer Meal Program runs from June 22 – August 14.

DAY CAMPS
As in years past, children will be fed at no cost by our program if attending VINS, DBS, all Ventures camps, as well as Hartford and Lebanon summer schools. Please look for a sign up from your camp/school starting the second week of June.

We will also be providing meals to subsidized housing locations in Hartford and Lebanon, so please do not sign up if you live in one of the following locations. Instead, get in touch with your case manager or service director.

NH: Romano, Tracy, Crafts Hill, Rivermere, Spencer Square.

PICK UP
Please register for meal pick up at an open site only if your children will not attend one of the camps listed above and if you do not currently live at one of the housing locations listed above. Open sites will have 5-day breakfast and lunch meal bags for children 18 and under.

Mondays at the White River School from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
Wednesdays at the Hartford High School main entrance from 11:00am to 1:15pm.

You may reach out to tabooh@hccvt.org with any questions.

VOLUNTEER

The Summer Lunch Program, an essential part of the Hartford Community Coalition’s Take A Bite Out of Hunger initiative, provides free breakfasts and lunches Monday-Friday during the summer months for children and their families throughout the Upper Valley. This effort is possible with hundreds of volunteer hours and numerous collaborations with our local libraries, schools, community groups, Hartford Parks & Rec, the White River Rotary, and employees at local businesses.

Volunteer inquiries can be directed to volunteers@hccvt.org.
